These terms govern your use of Marqe (“Marqe”, “we”, “us”), a reference archive of brand identities and the tools and exports built on it. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Marqe.
1. The service
Marqe collects publicly observable brand information — colours, typefaces, logos and site captures — and presents it for research, inspiration and reference. Browsing the archive is free. Paid plans unlock exports, precise colour search and other features described on the pricing page.
2. Accounts
You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
3. Brands and trademarks
Brand names, logos and other marks shown on Marqe belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement, affiliation or a licence. Marqe is a reference tool: you may study and compare identities, but you are responsible for ensuring your own use of any mark, logo, typeface or design complies with trademark, copyright and font licensing law. Fonts are shown using openly licensed or system faces where available; we do not distribute brands’ proprietary font files.
If you own a brand and want information corrected or removed, contact us and we will respond promptly.
4. Paid plans and billing
Pro and Studio are subscriptions billed monthly or annually in advance. Lifetime is a one-time payment for continued access to the paid features available to Lifetime members, for as long as Marqe operates, and is limited to the number of places shown on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Prices include or exclude taxes as shown at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account’s billing page; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. If a renewal payment fails, we may pause paid features until it is resolved.
5. Refunds
If you are unhappy with a first purchase, contact us within 14 days and we will refund it. After that, payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Consumer rights you have under applicable law are not affected.
6. Acceptable use
Do not scrape, mirror or resell the archive or its exports in bulk; attempt to bypass usage limits or payment checks; share your account credentials to give others paid access; interfere with the service’s security or availability; or use Marqe to pass off another company’s identity as your own.
7. Your exports
Exports are generated from the archive for your own design and development work. Generated “Remix” directions are original combinations, but you remain responsible for checking any final design does not infringe someone else’s rights.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Marqe accurate and available, but the archive is provided “as is” and may contain errors. We may change or discontinue features. If we make material changes to these terms we will update the date above and, for paid members, notify you by email.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Marqe is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
